One thing you could consider, given your good starting relations with the Putus Templar would be to get on their good side. Their becoming, for the most part, isn't tied to their level - so it's hard to plot out 'I should have X by Y'. You could find a bunch of cybernetics but no wedges or wedges but keep getting duplicate cyberware. The thing with true kin is that they suffer from a bit more gating and random luck than mutants.
